Ok so, for the past week. I haven't been feeling well. I had a fever last Friday and Saturday, but i still went to school. I felt awful for those two days. :S
Went back to school on Monday. Almost fainted during assembly. :P
Convinced my mum to take me to the doctor's that day. He said i had laryngitis. It infected my trachea too. My voice is gone. Its back now but still kinda low. Can't sing. :(
Mum asked the doctor to write a letter for an appointment with a doctor which can do a scope for my voice. ( A scope is a camera thingy which goes down the throat to see if there is anything going on in there. Yikes.) He wrote a letter addresed to Dr. Kuay. I practically lol-ed. Dr Kuay is a nasal and throat doctor in Sunway Medical. He was my granpa's doc when he was at the icu last year. Gramps hated him. Lol. He's not bad, just that he has a very bad temper.
Anyways, didn't go back to school for the Cross Country yesterday. I can't run with a trachea infection. I can barely breathe while sleeping. :S
Went for the usual piano class yesterday and went to IOI after.
We ate at Teppanyaki. It really was YUCKY.
So expensive for so little things and so low quality.
Oh yeah after that we went to the optician upstairs. Liew and Liew is the name of the shop.
Mum went to ask for a pair of contacts for me. He said it would cost RM35. So mum said its ok as she could ask for a lower price somewhere else. He quickly said that he could charge for RM28, but mum said that it only costs RM25 elsewhere.
He asked for my power and got the pair of contacts, mum helded RM25 to him and he was pratically begging. He said : ' Give two more ringgit la. Help me to survive.'
He kept repeating and repeating till mum gave him the two ringgit. After we left the shop we were instantly laughing. Ever seen an optician beg? I have. :P
Soon after, mum drove me and my bro to a holiday villa in Subang Jaya. We attended a seminar. It was free. It's called Superb Kids and Superb Teens. They teach you how to have confidence, how to plan your life goals and stuff. For the 2 hours spent there i felt it was kinda cool and useful. I had to go on stage to memorize a bunch of words in front of 60+ people. Yikes. At the end of the session, they introduced their camp which will be held during the March holidays. It'll last for 4 days. The price? It was RM2100 before, but we got a 'special discount' , which made it RM1900.
You wanna go? I don't. Lol.
Ok so here's a joke they told us.
One day, a professor had to cross a river. So he hired a boatman.
So in the boat, the professor saw a leaf in the water and picked it up.
He asked the boatman :' Boatman, boatman, do you know what is botany?'
The boatman answered :' Botany? No, i don't know what is botany."
The professor replied in shock: You don't know botany?! Then 10% of your life is gone.'
The boatman felt very sad but he kept on rowing.
Soon after, the professor saw a small stone in the boat.
He asked the boatman :' Boatman, boatman, do you know geology?'
The boatman answered :' Geology? What is that?'
The professor was truly shocked, he said :' You don't know geology? Why then 10% of you life is gone!'
The boatman felt very very down but still kept rowing.
While rowing, the boat hit a big rock. Water started flowing in the boat.
The boatman smiled and said :' Professor, professor, do you know what is swimming?'
Professor:' Swimming? What is swimming?'
The boatman said :' You don't know swimming? Well then 100% of your life is gone.'
